Do you want to help?  Adoption is the very best way!  There are so many dogs that need a home where they can live forever.  You can change a dog’s life just by your willingness to share your time and your love.  All of our dogs are assessed and treated by a vet immediately upon arrival.  Shots are updated and the dogs are neutered or spayed prior to joining the rest of our friends.

Work at SCARS continues to be both challenging and rewarding. Many more wonderful and deserving animals have found their way into our lives, some temporarily, others permanently. The dogs listed on our Adoption page are presently available for adoption. Each dog's adoption donation fee will be determined on a case by case basis.

If you would like to start the adoption process, you must complete our Adoption Application, which can be found at the top of this page. If you are interested in a specific dog currently available for adoption, you can let us know on your application. If you haven't found quite what you're looking for yet, that is ok too. You can give us as much or little detail about what you are looking for.
