Adopted***Buffy ***Adopted
Buffy (left) has been
adopted by a great family in Lawrence. She now has two children and a doggy
friend to play with.
Congratulations, Buffy!
Buffy
is a beautiful and loving, three year old, 85 lb, female Bouvier/Giant
Snauzer mix. She is spayed, up to date on her shots, and has tested
negative for heartworm. Buffy and her friend, Princess (now adopted)
were abandoned when her owner moved to Florida leaving a family member behind
to care for them, although that person never showed up. The neighbors
were throwing bread over the fence to keep them alive
and they "blimped up" but were matted
and neglected. Finally they were taken to the local vet to be put
to sleep. Luckily he refused and
SCARS took them in. Princess has found a new home and Buffy is now
safe until a new, forever home can be found for her, as well. When she was
groomed at Petsmart, all the groomers fell in love with her and
said she was such a sweetheart. Buffy deserves her own family especially
since she had such a close brush with death.

Adopted***Zoe ***Adopted

Zoe has been adopted by a wonderful
new family and now has a cat for a friend. She will be spoiled as you can
tell from the picture. Her former owner will miss her very much, but happy
to know she is in a safe home where she will be taken care of.

Zoe is 3 year old, purebred brindle
Boxer. She is housebroken, up to
date on her shots, and spayed. Gets along great with kids but need to be an
only dog in her adopted family. She’s a beautiful girl who needs a family
to love and dote on her.

Adopted***Flower ***Adopted

Flower is a 6 pound, female Chihuahua mix. She is around 2-3 years old, wormed, and
up to date on shots. We are still
assessing her degree of housetraining and waiting for he to get her
strength up to have her neutered .
She was turned over to us following a cruelty conviction. Flower is a bit shy, but a pretty little
girl. Please call us if you are
interested in giving Flower the home she deserves.
