Adopted*** Chelsea ***Adopted

After much worrying, Chelsea has gone off to her new home and is finally settled in. Her owner felt she needed to be an only dog, and we agreed. However, she was on Prozac and this scared off a lot of people. The new family has now weaned her off and she is once again her lively self. Now there is no competition with being the alpha dog since she is the only one!! We love happy endings.

Chelsea is a 2 1/2 year old, 18 lb., purebred, female Lhasa Apso. Chelsea is spayed and up to date on shots.  She loves adults and small children and is totally housebroken.  Chelsea had made the decision that she wants to be an "only child."  So, the attitude, "I am going to be the alpha" with other dogs has made her parents decide she needs to move on as a single family dog!!  I guess when you are as cute as she is, you can make your own decisions!

Adopted*** Mia ***Adopted

Sally has gone off to her new home at last. She has her own family of four who have been looking for just theright dog for two years. When the oldest brother saw Sally on our website, he called to mom and said he had found their new dog!! She is gentle and sweet, just what they wanted. So far, all reports are glowing!!

Sally is a 4 month old, female, Foxhound/Beagle mix.  She was rescued from a hoarder and covered in mud and ticks upon arrival.  She is extremely gentle and loving and learning how to run and play with the other dogs.  She is now spayed and up to date on her shots.  Sally weighs 23 lbs and will be gaining some more weight.  We love watching her grow and learn to trust people.  She is a cuddle bug....she loves to sit in your lap and be held.

Adopted*** Mia ***Adopted

Mia has gone off to her new family and will miss her pal, Sally. As luck would have it, they are in the same town and families are hoping for a play date soon. Mia has been a good girl and they love her. She has not had accidents.

Mia is a 6 month old, female, miniature Shepherd/Aussie mix and weighs about 25 lbs.  We have just had her spayed and gotten all of her shots.  She came to us, out of time, from a pound in a neighboring county.  So far she seems to get along well with our dogs and likes people.  She is very anxious for love and attention! We think she is going to make someone a great companion.

Adopted*** Lola ***Adopted

Lola has gone off to her new home!  She will be an only dog, which she will like, but will have doggie visitors quite often.  Her new owner has a big yard with lots of trees and she is allowed to come inside and spend her days in air conditioning.  So far, the news is good and she is adjusting well and meeting all of her "Dad's" friends.

Lola is a beautiful, female, 6 month old Labrador Retriever.  She weighs 40 lbs, is spayed, up to date on shots, and great with kids and other dogs.  Lola is classified as a Chocolate Lab, but her coloring is more black with a brown sheen.  She has a gorgeous coat!  Lola was surrendered by her owners as they could not/did not take care of her. If you want a fun companion, she is wonderful.

Adopted*** Coco ***Adopted

Coco is now living on "lake front" property where she can get back to her favorite pastime, swimming!  She has a golden retriever as a sister and lots of humans to look after her.  Her new family is finding out what a wonderful disposition she has, and they appreciate her beautiful coloring and eyes.  Although we miss her very much (especially Pierre who keeps looking for her!) we are happy she is off on her new life.

Coco is a 4-5 month old, female, Chocolate Labrador Retriever mix.  She is spayed, up to date on shots and totally crate trained.  Coco has beautiful light greenish gold eyes, a wonderful disposition and gets along wonderfully with people and other dogs.  She is healthy and happy....the best puppy anyone could hope for!!

Adopted*** Frito (now known as Gunner) ***Adopted

Frito is now Gunner and has found his permanent family. Gunner went to a foster friend of ours who teaches with me at my high school. I could tell as time went on that she was complaining about every application not being "quite right!" Finally she confessed she could not part with him. Her plans are to make Gunner a therapy dog. Plus, he plays constantly with the two family dogs....a lab and a boxer!

Frito is a 3-4 month old, male, Golden Retriever mix.  He is really sweet and soft! He is now neutered, up to date on his shots and weighs 20 lbs.  Frito was being given away by a family who was not taking good care of their puppies and a neighbor rescued him.  However, the neighbor is unable to afford him so SCARS has taken him in.  Isn't he adorable?
